Scope

Before any traffic is sent, we agree exactly what is in scope, what the engagement is meant to prove, and the rules we operate under. Scope is set in writing by a senior operator — not a sales intake form.

  • Define targets, environments, and explicit out-of-scope boundaries
  • Agree the objective: the asset or outcome worth attacking
  • Set rules of engagement, testing windows, and escalation contacts
  • Confirm authorization and handling for any sensitive data encountered
  • Establish a secure channel for findings and status

OutputSigned rules of engagement and a fixed scope boundary, agreed before work begins.

Test

We test the way an attacker works: map the surface, understand what it protects, then chain weaknesses toward the objective. Tooling establishes coverage; the findings that matter come from manual analysis of logic and trust boundaries.

  • Reconnaissance and surface mapping across the agreed scope
  • Manual exploitation of authentication, access control, and business logic
  • Chaining low-severity issues into real, demonstrable impact
  • Automated tooling for breadth, verified by hand to remove false positives
  • Coverage mapped to public frameworks (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK) where they apply

OutputA validated set of findings, each reproduced by hand before it is written up.

Evidence

Every finding is backed by evidence a reader can reproduce. We capture the request, the response, and the steps between them, and rate severity by real-world impact rather than a scanner's default score.

  • Proof-of-concept for each exploitable finding, reproduced end to end
  • Request and response captures with exact reproduction steps
  • Severity rated by business impact, not CVSS alone
  • Sensitive data handled and redacted under the agreed rules

OutputA clean evidence trail for every finding, ready to hand to engineering.

Report

The report is the deliverable, written for two audiences at once: engineers who need to fix the issue and leadership who need to understand the risk. It is prose, not a tool dump.

  • An executive summary that states risk in business terms
  • Per-finding write-ups with reproduction steps and evidence
  • Remediation guidance written for the engineers who will act on it
  • A debrief call to walk the findings and answer questions

OutputA written report plus a live debrief — no raw scanner export left to interpret.

Retest

Fixes are only fixes once they are proven. After remediation we retest the agreed findings to confirm they are closed and that the fix did not move the problem elsewhere.

  • Retest of each remediated finding against the original proof-of-concept
  • Confirmation that fixes hold and introduce no regressions
  • An updated status for every finding: closed, partial, or open
  • A short written record of the retest outcome

OutputA closed-loop record showing each finding's final state.

Why it holds up

Not just scanning

A scanner tells you where to look. It can't reason about your business logic, chain three low-severity issues into account takeover, or tell a real exploit from a theoretical one. We run tooling for breadth, then do the work that matters by hand. You pay for the judgment a scanner can't automate.

One operator, end to end

Your engagement is run by one senior operator — scoping, testing, and the debrief. No junior hand-off, no offshore relabeling. Thirty years of finding what others miss, applied directly to your scope.
